“ASHRAE’s New Standard 241: Control of Infectious Aerosols”

This standard, developed in record time, highlights innovative strategies for achieving clean air, combining outdoor air and air cleaners. Ms. Owen’s presentation will delve into the purpose, scope, and key requirements of Standard 241, offering valuable insights into its implementation and flexibility for building applications.
About the Speaker:
Ms. Kathleen Owen, of Owen Air Filtration Consulting, is a renowned expert in air filter and cleaner efficiency testing. With over 20 years of experience, she has been instrumental in developing key ASHRAE and EPA standards for particle, gas-phase, and bioaerosol testing. As the chair of ASHRAE SPC 185.5, she continues to lead advancements in air cleaner technology and testing.
