About the Program
A session on why hydronic balancing is important, with an overview of balancing methods and how they relate to both the TAB process and operating efficiencies. Being mindful of how balancing directly impacts start up, long term pump and unitary performance, and occupant comfort is crucial to total system success.
What will be covered:
- General hydronic balancing options
- Test and balance process comparison, plus a brief overview of DHW balancing and TAB specs
- Energy usage comparison with pump curves
- Use of automatic balancing valves with modulating control valves, and the focus points that go with them
